CAIR Is On Its Way Out
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is demanding that the Air Force Academy alter a panel of speakers slated for a terrorist symposium this week, saying it’s an unbalanced presentation dominated by anti-Muslim speakers. But recently, and for at least the third time, federal prosecutors have called out CAIR as part of a covert Muslim Brotherhood effort in the United States.
First, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas-support trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF). CAIR was listed among “entities who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee.” Then, when the group petitioned to remove its name from that list, prosecutors said such relief “will not prevent its conspiratorial involvement with HLF, and others affiliated with Hamas, from becoming a matter of public record.”
Now, in a federal court filing from December, federal prosecutors have described CAIR as “having conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.” The government also stated that “proof that the conspirators used deception to conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists was introduced” in the Dallas Holy Land Foundation trial last year and the Chicago trial of the Hamas men in 2006.
The government also stated that another organization, the Muslim American Society, was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States.” This appears to be the first time the US government has officially described the true origins and ulterior agenda of the Muslim American Society.
- After they spoke -
Former terrorists Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zak Anani addressed cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, during their annual political forum. They shared their experiences as terrorists and helped cadets understand the Islamic fundamentalist mind set.
During the event a Jordanian college student, identified as Omar Khalifa of Metro International, approached Kamal Saleem and spoke to him in Arabic, “you are an enemy of Islam and you must die.” The incident was reported to Military Police, who investigated Khalifa’s threat.
“We have all been told that Islam has been hijacked by extremists,” said Walid Shoebat. “Yet CAIR, who professes to be ‘Moderate Muslims’ are the Three Ex Terrorists biggest critics, and pull out all stops to try and keep out voices from being heard. I beg to ask the question; if CAIR is indeed moderate as they claim, then WHY are they not supporting our campaign against ‘extremists? If they are sincerely against the Fundamentalist Muslim agenda why do they appose us?”
According to the Air Force Academy’s public affairs office CAIR spokesman, Ibrahim Hooper, contacted them numerous times criticizing the scheduling of the three men, and requesting an opportunity to have a CAIR representative share with cadets information about the Islamic faith. The Academy informed Hooper that the event was not about religion, but about terrorism, and he denied CAIR’s request.
the U.S. Department of Defense, Central Command [CENTCOM] confirmed that an upcoming event featuring a speech by CAIR-Tampa Executive Director Ahmed Bedier, had been cancelled or, as CENTCOM put it, “postponed.” Joe Kaufman, Chairman of Americans Against Hate [AAH] emailed CENTCOM that “It would be wrong for CENTCOM to host Ahmed Bedier from CAIR this coming Tuesday, given CAIR’s extensive ties to terrorist organizations… Please reconsider allowing Mr. Bedier to speak to your personnel on Tuesday the 15th or anytime in the future. CENTCOM should be fighting terrorists, not embracing their friends.” CENTCOM agreed.
The Savage Nation lawsuit against CAIR will succeed, says his attorney Daniel Horowitz.
A variety of Leftist websites such as this one have been proclaiming that “5 more advertisers have dropped the Savage radio show” over his anti-CAIR statements. It wasn’t very long ago that CAIR had falsely claimed that other major advertisers had also left, so I have some strong doubts about this.
When our military starts hosting forums on the nature of Islam and rejects the protests of CAIR as being a terrorist organization, and now that Federal prosecutors are going after them, it won’t surprise me to see them start bailing out of America and running back home. It’s about time our government started doing something about them! They should never have been allowed to be here in the first place.
On a happy little side note, CAIR asked the FBI and Tennessee law enforcement authorities to investigate a fire and hate graffiti at a mosque in that state as a possible bias-motivated crime, because a fire at the Islamic Center of Columbia “pretty much destroyed” the mosque. Several Nazi swastikas and the phrases “white power” and “we run the world” were sprayed on the outside walls of the mosque. I don’t think much of the swasticas but it’s nice that the mosque is gone.
The Islamic Center of Columbia is located about 45 minutes south of Nashville, Tenn. I guess those good ol’ country boys are getting a little tired of the terrorists in their midst. Muslims do really lousy Elvis imitations, anyway.

I’m a Christian and I echo CAIR’s critique of the three so-called “former terrorists.” There is good evidence that they have fabricated their biographies. But worse is the fact that they are pure unadulterated bigots.

dang I saw this too and remind me why our govt gives a flip what CAIIIIIIIIIIIIIr says or does…terrorists the whole lot of them!

Offer some proof of that, John. Their bona fides have been checked out by our government repeatedly. There’s nothing fabricated about them.
Now, about bigotry. You mean because they’re telling the truth about Islam? What fact that they’re bigots? Got some links to back that up?
“I’m a Christian and I echo CAIR’s critique of the three so-called “former terrorists.” Which means what? How does your claim to be a Christian matter? What does that have to do with anything? If you agree with CAIR, you’re a fool regardless of whether you subscribe to a faith or not.
This has got to be one of the most unsound, biased, least thought out comments I’ve gotten in quite a while. Thank you, John, you’ve been modestly entertaining in a Down Syndrome sort of way.

Muslims do really lousy Elvis impressions? They are not wholly bad then! If I had to choose between ridding the world of Muslims or Elvis impersonators it would be a close call.

CAIR, by now, should be feeling the effects that they are not liked, and are on the way out. What puzzles me is the fact that the feds have proven CAIR are terrorist co-conspirators, yet those bastards are still open for operation, with the full intent of conspiring with terrorist organizations, and are still in power.
I will celebrate the day, much like the fat Muslim female did when our towers collapsed, when CAIR closes their doors and their terrorist thugs have all been arrested and thrown in jail for the remainer of their lives.

A lot of everyday Americans well know CAIR’s duplicity.
The key now is to get our LEADERS to take the appropriate steps.
Walid Shoebat is the scheduled guest for the March 14 edition of “The Gathering Storm Radio Show,” which I cohost. I rather imagine he’ll have something to say about the claims that he is “false.”

I’ve always thought it was too bad about Cat Stevens. I mean, I bought his albums way back when. Then he had to go Islamic on us. It’s like trying to enjoy watching Tom Cruse in a movie when you know he’s a complete nut job in real life. The music just isn’t the same anymore.
