Speaking Of Border Fences…

About 350,000 Palestinians poured into Egypt to buy supplies after the Hamas government toppled sections of a 40 foot high steel wall. They’d been cutting away at its foundations for months with cutting torches and last night they set off explosives that knocked down at least 200 meters of it.
“After detonating bombs along the fence at about 4 a.m. local time today, militants used bulldozers to remove barbed wire and concrete emplacements, witnesses said. By late afternoon, as many as 350,000 people, a fifth of Gaza’s population, had crossed into Egypt, Israel’s Haaretz daily said, citing the United Nations.”
Israels fear is that this will now allow more terrorist fighters and weapons into the Gaza Strip. “We have real concerns that they can now freely smuggle explosives, missiles and people into Gaza, which makes an already bad situation even worse,” Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Aryeh Mekel said.
The whole point of the blockade of Gaza was to force an end to the constant rocket bombardment of Israel by Gazans, and create sufficient hardship that the militants would be forced by the population to quit. Now everything is back to square one. This is the sort of behavior to be expected from a terrorist government that knows no rules but its own.
In the end, full scale war may be the only solution, as most Palestinians support Hamas and will do what Hamas says.
Looking at that wall, I can’t help comparing it to our Border Wall, and all the time the building of it has been going on, I’ve been wondering how long it would be before gaping holes appear in it. No doubt the Mexican government will do nothing to stop damage to the Wall and will probably encourage it, considering how they encourage the illegal entry into our country. And I can’t help comparing their attitude to that of Hamas.
Funny thing about the Mexicans. They sure want us to use their border checkpoint crossings.

I saw this on the news this morning. The average person in Gaza doesn’t think like Hamas et al does. It’s a shame. I also saw on the news this morning that the “Mexican border was out of control”. Wow, wonder what genius suddenly figured that out?

“Criminal acts of Zionist forces” is how this is described by the Pali powers that be. Withdrawing from Gaza ripping down homes and turning lives upsided down and for what? So the Palis with endless international funding can continue to not take responsibilty for themselves and continue firing rockets into Israel. The place is a dump of their own making.

GOOD! 350,000 Palestinians just got out. It’s a good beggining. Let’s kick off the rest to Egypt and locked them there.
