U.S. - Mexican Border

Our border with Mexico

WASHINGTON – “Concern is growing at the top levels of government about the US-Mexican border becoming a back door for terrorists entering the United States. While Al Qaeda infiltration across the nation’s southern border has been a constant concern since 9/11, US officials cite recent intelligence giving the most definitive evidence yet that terrorists are planning to use it as an entry point - if they haven’t already.”

Well, HOLA, el Gringos Washington! Concern is growing, huh? Gee, only just now?

“I’m worried about our border,” Sen. John McCain (R) of Arizona said at a March 17 Senate hearing on threats facing the US. “We have now hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people who are crossing illegally every year. And we are now seeing a larger number of people cross our southern border who are from countries of interest as opposed to just Latin American [countries].”

The “countries of interest” that Senator McCain refers to are those so designated by the US government as known to house radical, if not terrorist, groups. How long ago was it that we bloggers started screaming our heads off over this very problem? And they’re just now being “concerned”.

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — A US border guard was struck and killed Saturday while trying to flag down two cars that were speeding toward the Mexican border near Yuma, Arizona, said Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

“The agent was struck and killed (BY ONE OF THE ILLEGALS VEHICLES! Let’s print the whole truth, OK?) while attempting to stop two vehicles believed to have illegally entered the country and were absconding back into Mexico,” he told reporters.

“Chile’s Senate passed a resolution on last Wednesday formally protesting the United States government’s construction of a wall along the United States-Mexico border.”

Well, no kidding that Chile doesn’t like it, any more than any of the other Central and South American countries that are pouring their excess criminals and poor across our borders. The wall means that they’ll have to start dealing with their home-grown problems instead of shoving them onto us.

In the photo below, we see the border fence, and the urban sprawl right up to the line on the right, which is Tiajuana, in stark contrast to the open area that is the U.S.A. side on the left.

Meanwhile… “The federal government has sued the Brownsville Public Utilities Board and several Cameron County landowners to get access to their property as officials work on the proposed Mexican border fence.

The 12 land condemnation lawsuits filed Thursday state that the Homeland Security Department intends to seize the property under federal eminent domain laws and plans to compensate landowners. The filing followed a judge’s order earlier this week that allowed federal seizure of 233 acres of city-owned land in the border community of Eagle Pass.”

Resistance to Eminent Domain land takeover is only part of the issue. A lot of border businesses have come to depend on illegals for a big part of their income. Too bad. They need to put their nation first and stop supporting crime, which is exactly what they’re doing.

(CNN) — “Four police officers were wounded Thursday in an hours-long police shootout at a suspected safe house for criminals in the Mexican border town of Tijuana. Five people were arrested, and seven others were found dead inside the residence. The seven bodies were found inside after the shootout, although it was not clear how they died.

Police found numerous weapons inside the house, along with bulletproof vests, helmets and tactical tools. The incident happened days after eight people were shot and killed in Tijuana. The dead in that incident included two police officers, a district commander, his wife and his 12-year-old daughter, the Associated Press reported.”

This is only a tiny part of the crime happening along our border with Mexico. Tiajuana is just one town. There are many along that 2000 mile long border with Mexico and there are ongoing battles and deaths between law enforcement on both sides and the drug and people smugglers. According to Wikipedia, “The U.S.–Mexico border has the highest number of both legal and illegal crossings of any land border in the world. A large percentage of the border is guarded by large numbers of patrolling agents of the U.S. federal government.”

“Better late than never” doesn’t always cut it. As many as 20 million illegal alien invaders are now in the U.S.A. and getting them out again is going to be a tough job.

And what about Ramos and Compean? These two U.S. border guards still languish in prison because of wrongful prosecution and deserve Our Support!

It’s good that attention is focusing once again on the Border Fence. Don’t be fooled, this is only because it’s an election issue. We need to see that fence finished before the next Presidential election because once someone is in office, building will cease, sure as I live and breathe.

We should stick a 50ft high wall right round the third world to stop large scale illegal immigration. I emailed our PM suggesting we filled the English Channel with caustic soda but did not get the courtesy of a reply.

Whether a US/Mexico wall would help that much against terrorists I am not so sure, wouldn’t an organised terror group have the cash to provide decent forged papers, represent them as respectable businessmen etc.?

“Lazy ass white boys”. Oh. I see. No prejudice there, no. And such astute observation, such erudition, I’m overwhelmed.

What I think we have here is a Mexican, Jose, alias “Joe”, who’s pretending to be black. The reality is that blacks have no love for Mexicans, they kill each other off all the time doing drive-bys on each other, because the Mexicans are pushing out the blacks from their own neighborhoods and taking away their jobs.

The low-lifes who comment here do the rest of us a favor by revealing their brutish mindlessness. Of course all the impoverished Mexicans want to come here to be free of poverty. Exactly right. BUT this is because they won’t get off their lazy brown asses and create a decent life in their own country. Talk about stupid, how dumb do you have to be to think some other nations people should be responsible for your welfare? How lazy do you have to be?

    Lazy ass brown boys.
