President Bush is in Saudi Arabia for talks with King Abdullah.
King Abdullah was there to greet President Bush when Air Force One touched down at the Riyadh airport. President Bush is expected to brief the King on his talks last week with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.
Saudi Arabia is a key U.S. ally and a power in the region. And it was no coincidence that as the president landed in Riyadh, the Bush administration formally notified the U.S. Congress of its intent to carrying out the first part of a $20 billion arms sale to the Saudi government.
“…I also want you to understand something about America: that we respect you, we respect your religion and we want to work together for the sake of freedom and peace.”
Saudi Arabia is not now and never has been a “key U.S. ally”. Allies are friends who are supportive. The Saudis sole intent is to destroy America as a free nation. Our agreement with them, entered into by dead Pres. Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1930’s, is that as long as we protect them from attack, they will supply us with oil. If we stop protecting them, the oil goes elsewhere. They get rich and Bush and his family and his Oil Corporation buddies all get rich from the continually rising profits.
That’s not enough for him anymore. Now we have to lose our national identity to NAFTA and become flooded with illegal aliens, mosques and terrorist schools called Madrassas. The Saudis drive a hard bargain and greed is a terrible weakness.
The Saudis are the original source of global terrorism. It’s the Saudis who created Wahabbism, the worst and most virulent form of fundamentalist Islam, and it’s the Saudis who destroyed the Twin Towers. Toeay the Saudis are funding the spread of Wahabbism all over the world, including the United States.
