Trashing Mitt Romney

Being a politician is, by itself, sufficient reason to trash anyone, and today it’s Lucky Mitt’s turn to be round-filed on IslamaNazi. One a week until I get tired of it.

Ordinarily I wouldn’t start off with a persons religion unless they were Islamic, but, sorry, Mormonism is wierd. The stuff adherents of this faith are expected to swallow whole are so far beyond reasonable that Mormons might as well believe that God is a green space monkey. I know that’s going to upset Mormons, but come on, there’s limits. Every religion is based on the supernatural, which in turn is entirely a mix of superstition and blind faith, but the Book of Mormon distorts history and reality so badly that it leaves the atmosphere and keeps right on soaring outward past Saturn.

All that said, Mitt Romney is a devout Mormon. I mean, HE BELIEVES! Here we have someone who wants to be our president at the same time he wants to convert the world to Mormonism. He spent two and a half years in France trying to convert the French! How’s that for balls? Remind you of Jehovahs Witnesses, who come banging on your door to tell you that your religion is crap and only theirs is any good, the rude, arrogant, thoughtless, intrusive jerks?

He confronted concerns about his Mormon faith by declaring that Jesus is his savior and that he wants to nourish the role of religion in public life. Mitt might not be able to handle the Separation of Church and State that is required by our Constitution and we need a return to our Constitution, not a continued move away from it. We need religious freedom. We don’t need one particular religion crammed down our throats.

Religious faith or the lack of it has nothing to do with
being qualified for the Presidency. The level at which it dominates a persons life, does.

Mitt Romney is a highly qualified and capable business executive who graduated in the top 5% of his class. He’s made a huge fortune for himself by reorganizing companies and making them more efficient including laying off employees, cutting wages and slashing benefits.

He’s an odd mix of rich, sheltered and aloof combined with moments of true compassion, such as when he and his sons used jet skis to pull a family and their dog out of Lake Winnipesaukee, or when a business partner called to say his teenage daughter had gone missing in New York City after a concert and Romney shut down the company, gathered as many partners and employees as he could and raced to join the search.

On the other hand, when a State Police trooper on his protective detail shortsheeted Romney’s bed in a Florida hotel, as a joke, Mitt grabbed a piece of hotel stationery, typed a note to himself from a fake hotel manager and said the room’s maid had been fired for the linen mishap. Then the governor made sure the note leaked to the trooper.

The trooper found out the note was fake, but what if he hadn’t and carried that guilt for life? For a joke pay-back, it was a cruel one. A small thing perhaps, but telling of Mitts personality. While governor of Massachusetts, he showed a relentless focus on control. His staff even put up velvet ropes wherever he went, separating him from reporters and the public. This is not a man of the people. This is an aloof man with a powerful belief in his own superiority.

As a politician, “on everything from guns and the NRA, abortion rights and emergency contraceptives to gay rights and pardons, this man has flip-flopped so much in recent years that he makes John Kerry look like the model of consistency. No other presidential candidate in recent times from any political party has reversed or backtracked on issue after issue as much as he has.”

This is the behavior of a politician, not a leader. Mitt Romney has told the people not what he believed or felt was right, but what he thought would get him elected. We’re going to need a leader who will stand up for America and make choices to protect America that will upset a lot of powerful people. Can a flip-flopper like Mitt be trusted to do this or stand firm on commitments?

Mitt has fine suits, a handome face and nice greying temples. The picture of success.

“He’s a well respected man about town, doing the best things so conservedly.” The Kinks, 1965.

But at least Jehovah’s witnesses always seem to turn up on one’s doorstep with a good looking young woman in tow, for that I am quite prepared to put up with five minutes boring conversation on evolution.

  2. Rastaman Says:

LOL, I never thought of that. It’s TRUE, those sneaky little devils.

  3. xoggoth Says:

If I had to vote on the chap I would judge him on his opinions NOW, and they are all shite. Anti-gay, against morning after pill even for rape victims, religious, conservative, pro-life, highest state taxes.

Worst of all, the bastard shoots NICE little rats and things, that really is unforgivable!

Sorry to post this here but I just wanted to bring something to your attention Rastaman, about a pakistani Bishop in the UK who is saying how great a threat Islam is becomming in the UK:

Please take a look, it follows on from what you were saying in your previous post.

Apologies again, but I meant to attach this link as well:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7173759.stm

Which he quotes some very valid points like: He accused many Muslims of being guilty of double standards in their view of the world by seeking both “victimhood and domination”.

In his 2006 Christmas message he said he feared that those in power would not see the dangers of extremism and would tackle the issue “pragmatically”.

which clearly relates to this finance issue of why our government won’t do anything about Islamism.

    Thanks.

An interesting person. As a Paki, a black, and a bishop of the church, the muslims must find his pronouncements hard to assail, let alone him personally. Good. England needs more like him who are willing to speak out and have the clout to actually be heard.

Thanks for your comments and the links.

I don’t like him either, Rastaman. Actually all of them but Fred, are trying to be something they are not. They will say anything to get votes. Fred may be laid back, but at least he says what he means.

That Bishop in England is very interesting. Saying there are NO-GO areas where it is not safe for NON-muslims to go, their lives are in danger. Proves how Islam is taking over the country. Look for a fatwa on this man.

  8. Angel Says:

dont all politicians try to act like someone they are truly not?:)

  9. jordon Says:

    Debbie said
“Look for a Fatwa on this one”
    Maybe true, BUT
I guess the corrupt thought police will be trying to secure more funding by “interviewing” him, perhaps under the same rules as Lionheart in the previous blog entry.
After all, racial hatred is easily stirred up in, - ermm, - THAT community

A bit like police investigations of channel 4, (TV), hidden cameras in mosques revealing true activities.
Police considered, and threatened to prosecute channel 4 for stirring up, etc, etc, rather than take action against the mosques.
    Shiite between the ears.

Good one Rastaman! I like Romney even less now, but of course he’d still be much better than any DhimmicRAT.

    absurd thought -

one who wields a golden tongue
    and wears sporty sweaters
