Trashing Mike Huckleberry
I usually just trash George Bush Junior but today, it’s Trash A Candidate Day and Mike Huckabee is the chosen chump. He gains this distinctive attention from me for continually pulling great revelations out of thin air. Huckleberry is one of the Rapture/Armageddon devout and may be getting his information from the Music of the Spheres or Space Visitors.
His latest blow-offs are that “660 Pakistanis have come into the country illegally in the past year”, a statement taken totally out of context and then garbled, as it came from an ICE report of various nationalities actually caught during the period of 2002-2006, not just “last year”, and not the total number who snuck in. He further stated that “We have more Pakistani illegals coming across our border than all of the other nationalities except those immediately south of the border.”
Ummm, NO, according to the same report, many more illegal immigrants came from India, Korea, China, the Philippines and Vietnam than Pakistan. How is it possible to be so completely out of touch with the issue of illegal alien immigration? This clearly lays bare his true lack of concern about this in spite of his speeches.
In another gaffe about the Bhutto assassination, our boy Reverend Huckleberry said yesterday that the United States should be “trying to ascertain who’s behind it, and what impact does it have on whether or not there’s going to be martial law continued in Pakistan.”
Point of fact, martial law was lifted two weeks ago, and even if Musharraf is behind it, as everyone in Pakistan believes, our government would never say so as long as it supports him.
Embellishing his previous display of schoolboy ignorance, he added this gem: “We ought to have an immediate, very clear monitoring of our borders and particularly to make sure if there’s any unusual activity of Pakistanis coming into the country.” What? Huckleberry make political hay over Benazirs death? Why, whatever are you thinking? Huckabee Headline: Pakistanis Are Streaming Over Our Borders.
Our Boy Huckleberrry has no foreign policy. To quote a senior Huckabee campaign official: “There is no foreign policy credential.” I sure can’t argue with that. If he’s going to make repeated statements about Pakistan, he needs to know his subject first. He referred to Pakistans “eastern borders near Afghanistan” when in fact that’s Pakistans Western border. A small enough error, but it shows, along with many other gaffes, that he runs his mouth without knowing what he’s talking about.
Rev. Mike is an evangelistic Southern Baptist ordained minister, once was very obese and lost 110 pounds in a very short time, (how???) has a rock band named Capital Offense, was a governor of Arkansas and is running on a political platform named Jesus Christ. His basic message is that if you elect him, you elect Jesus Christ.
Back when Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple, the message was clear right then that GOD IS NOT FOR SALE. Funny how His Message never seems to matter when some supposed Christian wants to play the Jesus card for his own personal gain the way good ol’ Rev. Huckleberry is doing now. I’ll make you a bet: After Huck loses the nomination, he’ll become a TV evangelist and make lots of money off his fame.
Elect Mike Huckabee to the office of Two-Faced Self-Righteous Jackass Of The Week. You may vote in the comment section.
Not a good choice for our next president. In fact, a poor choice for a flock. People who want a Christian religious leader need someone who knows his Bible, not some hick fool who makes up stuff as he goes along. That’s what Mohammad did and look where it got them.

Trash a candidate day, I look forward to reading your upcoming “trash day” articles. I could not vote for Huckabee, no way. Everything about him reeks of FAKE. He’s using God and religion to try and win voters, I don’t like that either. He’s just too slick for my taste. Some people I respect and usually agree with are big Huckabee supporters. Oh well, I guess it’s their time to be wrong.

Didn’t Bush, when first running for election, on being asked who the leader of Pakistan was, reply something like “Eh, um, General, um, er, no General”? Total bleeding ignorance of foreign policy and being a religious nutjob didn’t stop him getting in did it? Perhaps you should be worried.
Even if he does not have the figures right, maybe he is not off the mark in being particularly concerned about Pakistani migrants if that country becomes more violent than it already is. Violent, repressive and lawless societies produce violent people, whether that is expressed as Islamic terrorism or as violent crime.

I love your comments in other blogs; such as this in Right Truth:
Oh My God!! Quick! Give this man a false birth certificate and run him for U.S. president!
The Dutch have a leg up on the world, with that man for MP. I hope he does every single thing he’s trying to do.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAPPY NEW YEAR, MAN!

Thanks, Ernesto. Happy New Year to you too! Here’s hoping for real progress against Islamic fundamentalists in 2008.
