BNP For President?
The British National Party has long been vilified as racist and there was a lot of truth to that. It was founded years ago by skinhead types, and the party was no more than just another go-nowhere fringe group until it was finally taken over by Mr. Nick Griffin, a much more moderate person who clearly sees Britains biggest threat as being Islam, not racial disparities.
This is their most recent news article, filed today by the BNP News Team.

This is exactly what we need to hear from ALL the aspiring candidates for the American presidency.
The BNP has a steadily growing constituency in spite of being constantly attacked in all the State-owned media such as the BBC and harassed in the courts by whichever muslim-appeasing party is in power. If there is any hope left for Britain to cure itself of being the terrorist center of Europe, that hope lies with the BNP, and the British people, more and more, are coming to realize this.

The teensy little problem is that all the apparent inclusiveness of that rhetoric is not reflected in their policies.
Unless there have been some recent changes I have not heard about, they would still make it legal to refuse to employ a black man solely on grounds of colour and freely use racist abuse. The policy of encouragement to leave the UK is based solely on ethnic origin and not on the willingness or otherwise of people to embrace British values.
Until Nick Griffin actually changes the policies I can’t see any sane black, Asian, Jewish etc. people voting for them.

As against the current situation in England at the moment whereby white British men and women are being refused jobs because they are not from an ethnic minority group.
Discrimination is an every day occurence in England with priority being given in all sectors of society to the non indigenous population.
If you would care to spend a small amount of time looking for organisations that represent the interests of one particular group or another, you will find literally hundreds of organisations that are Black this (Black Police Association for example) Asian this (Asian Polices Association for example) Bangladeshi this and so on and so on.
All these groups are set up to further the aims and agenda for the group they represent, purely and simply.
Name one group that represents the interests of the white indigenous population. That’s right.
Amongst the many thousands of organisations that are in place to further the rights, aims and agenda of ethnic minority groups in the United Kingdom (including the present Government and two main opposition parties) there is but ONE that represents us, the White British indigenous population, and that is the BNP.
As for refusing to emply someone on the grounds of ethnic group, one needs look no further than the High Street to see the effect of an ethnic minority Manager taking over a shop. In my local town centre, two well known shops had ethnic minority Managers appointed and within 3 months virtualy all the previous staff had left to be replaced by new employees from the same ethnic group as the Manager. This is an all too common sight, and not just in retail. Ethnic minority groups are massively over represented in most of the public sector and there are now numerous jobs that are only available to ethnic minority groups, whereas there are no jobs that are available to white British people onlya sthis would be racist!
As for freely using racist abuse being some sort of BNP policy, I would be pleased to hear where this is in their manifesto.
Incidentally, if you really want to hear racist abuse (even when it is against the law) try taking a walk around parts of Bunley where my brother lives and you will soon find the words white and C$%$ and white and B*st%&$ just trip off the tongue.

I don’t actually disagree with much you say LD.
It is perfectly reasonable for the white British to be able to have a culture of their own like anyone else and it is really not on to favour minorities or to have all this PC stuff you complain of. Much of it is a form of inverted racism, for example, we know perfectly well that if many of us were offered free benefits we would take them, yet simply because asylum seekers are not British we are lambasted for saying many are not genuine. We all know that far too many migrants are utter crap but are expected to be grateful for their presence.
But Griffin should be calling for a halt to immigration and for defence of British culture that is not mainly based on ethnic origin, which as far as I can see, BNP policy still is. Or am I wrong on that? It really makes not a lot of sense to encourage some high earning guy who fits in to leave simply because he is of Asian origin while being happy with some layabout Australian. Not really a very practical policy in my view. If the BNP got in the ethnics who would leave would be the best educated, most integrated, highest earning types as they are the ones who would readily find jobs elsewhere. Nobody would take the rabid Imams, the benefit scroungers and the criminal underclass.
I didn’t say racist abuse was a BNP policy, I said it would make it legal for somebody to use it. Last time I looked at the BNP site repeal of the relevant legislation on that was a policy.

My understanding is that the BNP policy is for the removal of all illegal immigrants in Britain amounting to any number between 500,000 or 2.5 million depending on who you listen to. In addition, any foreign national who commits a crime in Britain may be subject to deportation, as indeed is already the case in numerous countries and even some EU countries such as Italy intends to introduce as policy.
You may not be aware that the current Government of Great Britain already pays immigrants to return home, with allowances in the region of £2500 being common. It is also the case that a number of migrants from other EU countries who have come to Britain in search of a better life only to fall on hard times, several organisations having now been set up to assist in providing financial assistance to assist with their return home.
I take your point about the better educated leaving but the policy on repatriation would not work in isolation. There is a reason that so many from all around the world descend on Britain, and that is because the good old British will look after them, regardless of whether they are prepared to contribute. There was a recent case regarding a foreign national who is claiming that his human rights have been violated because he has not been given sufficient cash benefits and the (free) accommodation was not up to his required standard.
Merely changing the rules to match many of our fellow European countries would end this avalanche of free loaders, and ensuring that priority on housing and other benefits is given to the indigenous population would might encourage others to either make a proper contribution or to leave.
I am fairly sure that the majority of countries around the world give priority to the wellbeing of their own citizens; I believe that the indigenous British population deserve no less.
The point I was making about the racial abuse was that this is something that is commonly used to show how racist white British people are, when the truth of the matter is that racist language is just as common in ethnic minority groups, and certainly the Governments own crime statistics do bear out the fact that in the VAST majority of racial attacks in Great Britain, white people are the victim.
I do not personally hold with any law that restricts free speech, and I think the concept of hate crimes and hate speech merely serves to stifle discussion which can only lead to stored up trouble. I do not personally believe that just because it is now against the law for people to say what they think of each other that it in any way impacts on what they think, it merely leads to deeper and deeper resentment.
With there already being proposals to introduce laws to combat hate crimes against the disable, what will be next? Hate crimes against the elderly? Hate crimes against pregnant women or women with small children? Hate crimes against vertically challenged or bald people? Hate crimes against people who take shortcuts along dark and lonely streets? Hate crimes against people using mobile phones in public, etc etc.

About Racism In America, we have BET TV, which is Black Entertainment Television, an entirely racist TV station for blacks. Can you imagine a W(white)ET TV? The blacks would have rectal hemorrhages over it. Also, we have a similar abomination to your own discriminatory laws called Affirmative Action, which puts unqualified blacks into colleges while pushing aside qualified whites. It’s a quota system that simply doesn’t work here any more than it does there. What we’ve ended up with is no all-white TV and blacks at the desks and counters of all Federal jobs. If you go into any Social Security office, the people at the desks are black. Not Hispanic or Oriental or Eastern. Black. From Wikipedia: “According to U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s annual report “Federal Equal Opportunity Recruitment Program”, a total of 48,033 new minority employees have been hired by the feds from FY 2001 to FY 2006. During the same period there has been a net decrease of 3,960 white male employees in federal jobs.”
That’s just as racist as the reverse would be.
This is because it was the blacks who raised Hell and screamed the loudest. It’s also because the blacks are the laziest of all the ethnics. They get more free handouts and more welfare than any other group, although the Hispanics are giving them a serious run for the money now, and if this isn’t true, then why are so many of them on welfare?
The bottom line here is that those who cried and complained the loudest about racist treatment have turned out to be the worst racists of all. It’s very true that blacks were oppressed. Now that they’re not it’s time for them to move on and grow up.

Don’t want to waste your webspace by turning this into a forum Rasta but indeed to most above from you and LD. I just think we need to concentrate on the real problems here and those problems are principally about individual worth and culture.
Totally agree, (and so would about 80% of the UK/US populations I reckon) that we do not need third world crime, Muslims or others who have reasons to not be commited to individual freedom or democracy, AIDS/TB andf other diseases, people who believe in witchcraft, female circumcision, honour killings or any of the other crappy beliefs we have spent 400 years casting off. But if we had a proper immigration policy rather than an open door none of those third world defects would matter, because we would be admitting only those who had been properly checked. If we did that, blanket restrictions on origin would not be necessary.
Many ethnic minorities who are citizens or born here have major concerns about these issues too and it does not help to give the impression that race is the major factor. Rightly or wrongly, that is still the impression of the BNP and if they are trying to change that, they need to work a bit harder at it.
Certainly laws are far too draconian and I see no reason why people should not be free to criticise what they see as defects in minorities, object to gays etc. as long as is not incitement to hatred. I would not see it as reasonable to subject somebody to repeated abuse, but think that (in the UK) that would be subject to harrassment laws anyway.

I totally agree about immigration policy and that it should be strict. It used to be in both our countries, but not any more, to our great misfortune.
