Houses of the holey? Wholly?

Back from another meandering, to grace this site with a picture of a highly utilitarian item, one outhouse/mosque. Kindly note it opens on the left, meaning that the right hand must be defiled to enter. After that, all bets are off. Kneeling may be a bit difficult since it places the worshippers face directly into the portal of the Alabaster Goddess, but the smell should be a poignant reminder of back home in the tent with the camels.
As always, my pics are free for the use on any blog.
More tomorrow, right now it’s been a long, all day drive and I’m going to kick back.
——————-
Tuesday Morning. A brand new day! Hey, does everyone hopefully remember Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, two former Border Patrol agents, who are each serving more than a decade in federal prison for shooting an illegal alien as he was fleeing to the Mexican border? Well, check this: More than 30 conservative leaders, including one of President Bush’s long-time friends, have signed a letter urging Bush to pardon imprisoned Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.
The move follows news that the drug smuggler in the case, Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, was arrested last week at the Mexican border for alleged drug offenses committed back while he under immunity to testify as the star witness.
Back when the smuggler was given a free pass across the border by Fed prosecutor Johnny Sutton, the motherless traitor appointed by one G. W. Bush to help wreck our border security, this same smuggler continued to bring drugs into the U.S. by virtue of that free pass but, though caught at it, was not prosecuted because he hadn’t finished testifying against Ramos and Compean. Sutton knew perfectly well that if he were prosecuted, his lying testimony would have been thrown out!
Among the signatories to the letter requesting a pardon are Paul Weyrich, chairman and CEO of the Free Congress Foundation; Phyllis Schlafly, founder and president of Eagle Forum; Morton Blackwell, chairman of the Conservative Leadership PAC; Frank Gaffney, Jr., president of the Center for Security Policy; and David Keene, chairman of the American Conservative Union and is U.S. Marine Corps veteran Jim Martin, president of 60 Plus Association, whose ties with Bush go back to 1968.
Whether Bush will finally have the grace and gumption to do something decent for a change remains to be seen. Personally I have my doubts. The more I watch this guy the more I’m convinced that he’s rotten to the core.
In the meantime, Two congressmen are calling for the immediate release of imprisoned Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean and a complete investigation of their prosecutor (Johnny Sutton) after the arrest last night of the drug smuggler at the center of the case.
Reps. Ted Poe, R-Texas, and Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., say that with the arrest of Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, Congress and the attorney general should launch a full-scale review of U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton’s prosecution of the border agents.
The groundswell is steadily growing and will not end until these two men are freed. George thought this would be a minor prosecution that the public would ignore and forget, so he’s refused any comment on the matter. As usual with him, he’s wrong again. Now Sutton is under fire and there’s growing commentator-talk that this goes all the way to the White House, something that we already know.
This could prove to be Bush’s Watergate, with any good luck at all. Burn a candle.

WOW, how inspirating mosque… nothing more fair than turn the back to Mecca and set our butts to the ground way, sending our best wishes to Allah…
hahahaha, genius, Rasta! What a triumphal welcome back!
PS: let’s see if THIS time, Dubya will do the right thing concerning the two Border Patrol agents heroes. Even if he would do this only for his self interest.

Thanks, Ernesto. Glad you like it. As a matter of fact, you enter facing north. I could easily turn it to face west so that a kneeling butt would point to Mecca and a sitting person would as well. Worth considering.

Heh…. did you build that outhouse?
November 20th, 2007 at 7:26 pm
Yep. I was going to convert it to a Holiday Inn but the drive-by traffic just isn’t there.

Ah yes, my kind of outhouse indeedy! Hope you have a good supply of Korans with which to wipe the brown stain. That’s about all they are good for IMO.
