That’s A Lot Of Dead Cattle, Dah?
“Topps Meat Co. announced Saturday it massively expanded its nationwide recall to include 21.7 million pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli.” This meat recall is the latest in a rash of E. coli-related callbacks this year, including tainted spinach and salad mixes. The USDA said it is unable to explain why there have been so many outbreaks. BTW, that works out to 38,204 cattle.
If I were out to damage the U.S. and attack its citizens, contaminating the food would be one way to do it. Between the filthy, unsafe food imports from China and the repeated discoveries of major contamination in our own products, I do think a serious investigation into causes and sources is in order.
The Russians are having a hard time getting young people into the military. Their armed services are so abusive that only 9% of those receiving draft notices respond to them. The rest do anything they can to avoid the draft.
“Hazing by older soldiers called “dedovshchina”, or “rule of the elders” is commonplace, sometimes resulting in death or serious injury. Last year doctors had to amputate a soldier’s legs and genitals after he was punished by drunk sergeants and neglected by military doctors during New Year’s holidays.”
What in Hell did they do to that guy? Make him sit in a bucket of acid? No wonder the Russian military is in a shambles.
The Committee of Soldiers’ Mothers organized to protect runaway soldiers and sue the military in court. Now the heads of the Russian military say they want Committee members to start serving on the draft boards in a push to create discipline and humanize the military. Putin’s been pouring billions of dollars into new infrastructure and weapons systems, as well. He’d better clean up the military. His Chinese “friends” are an implacable bunch.
This is the same country that is trying to tell us what to do in the Middle East. When I hear stories like the above, I have to ask, short of their launching nukes at us and getting turned into a desert themselves, just how much clout do they really have? The Russians are all holler and bluster and very little substance. They’re working to change that but right now we have little or nothing to fear from the Russians. Good thing, too. We have enough on our plate as it is.

Saw a TV prog on the way Russian recruits are treated a couple of years back. Beats me how they get anyone in the army at all.

Wow, the Russians are rough on their grunts. Sitting in a bucket of acid? Ouch!

There you go, skim-reading again. No, they didn’t make him sit in acid. I was just expounding a bit.

TYPICAL RUSSIANS!!!!!!!!!! THEY,RE ARMY HAS REALLY GONE DOWN THE TOILET FROM WHAT I,VE BEEN READING. MOST OF THEIR NEW RECRUITS SAY THEY WOULD SURRENDER RATHER THAN FIGHT A MAJOR CONFLICT. WE HAVE HAZING IN OUR ARMY TOO, I KNOW I GOT PLENTY OF IT , ESPECIALLY WHEN I WENT TO JUMP SCHOOL. WHEN MY WINGS WERE AWARDED THEY STAMPED EM ON TO OUR CHESTS WITHOUT THE KEEPERS ON EM, JUST THE PINS. OOOOOOO IT HURT!!!!!!!!! BUT I WOULD,NT HAVE HAD IT ANY OTHER WAY. MAKING SOMEONE SIT IN ACID, WELL THATS JUST PLAIN OLD SADISTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! SICK RUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO NO NO. No one made anyone sit in acid. - sigh -
“What in Hell did they do to that guy? Make him sit in a bucket of acid?”
That was a QUESTION.
In other words, why did doctors have to amputate his legs to the hip and take his genitals off too? I was ASKING WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SOLDIER. NOT MAKING A STATEMENT OF FACT.
I guess people are just in too much of a hurry to read anything through anymore. Either that or what I write just isn’t that interesting.
