A couple of muslims hijacked an airliner belonging to muslims, in order to make it fly to an Islamic country, Iran. It landed in Turkey instead, which is an ally of Iran. The hijackers, a Turk and a Syrian, said they were muslims protesting against the United States. They shook hands with Turkish officials before being seated in a police car and taken away for interrogation.

They all shook hands, no mention of handcuffs or any other restraints, seated themselves in a police car and drove away. All very good natured, don’tcha think? No doubt everyone thought it was a fine joke. If that were Americans who’d done that and landed in Turkey they would have been hauled off in irons and tortured to death, if they weren’t killed outright on leaving the plane.
