Up YOURS, Six Butthole Imams!

“Should citizens — acting in good faith to report suspicious activity — be subjected to lawsuits by “Islamic activists” (read terrorists)? Democrats think so. Last week, they attempted to strip away the “John Doe” provision from the new Homeland Security Department legislation. For now, they have failed.
Reps. Peter King (R-NY) and Steven Pearce’s (R.-NM) “John Doe” amendment was crafted after a group of Muslim activists (the six terrorist imams) filed a lawsuit against U.S. Airways and the undisclosed passengers who complained about abnormal behavior that resulted in the now-infamous flying imams’ removal from the plane on November 20, 2006. The King-Pearce amendment, which creates a legal immunity for citizens who report suspicious behavior in good faith, was initially approved 304-121 in March.
Thanks to the hard work of Sens. Joe Leiberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) along with co-sponsor King, the amendment was upheld in a House-Senate conference Wednesday. The new bills, HR.1 and S.4, will improve cargo inspection on passenger planes and ships, increase security distribution funds to the highest risk locations, and most importantly, grant legal protection for citizens who report suspicious behavior.”
Obama abstained from voting but Hillary Clinton voted to keep the provision.. Who’da thought? For all that I don’t like about her, she at least doesn’t cave in to Pelosi.

You want the Nevada State Governers Outlook passwords, etc?
Read on.
The Outlook username is, by the way, “governor” and the password is
“kennyc”. Note at this point that the former Nevada governor,
a Republican, is Kenny C. Guinn, which hardly says much about password
security.
Nevada has posted the password to the gubernatorial e-mail account on its official state Web site. It appears in a Microsoft Word file giving step-by-step instructions on how aides should send out the governor’s weekly e-mail updates, which has, as a second file shows, 13,105 subscribers.
The details have been pulled (smile), but they forgot Google cache- – (if you’re quick)

You know, Rasta.
I’ve been reading around your last several blogs, and I’m coming to a realistion that many ideas held dear for decades have been shat upon from a great height by politicians of all leanings in all countries.
None of that airborne shitting seems to be in favour of the normal “man in the street”, as that is what I consider myself to be.
I also consider myself to be better informed than the majority of my compatriots.
This is deeply depressing, as there seems to be no way to correct the imbalances, as the majority of my compatriots, whatever my efforts, don’t seem to give a rats ass.
I am reminded of earlier warnings, and earlier studies, by these cartoons.

The author, the celebrated Hayek, would rise from the grave, sword in hand, if he were to witness todays hate inspired Machiavellian maneuverings.
I need a rest!

Jordon is right about the average “man in the street”. The average American ( or Brit, or Australian, or whatever) is the LAST LINE OF DEFENSE when it comes to noticing strange behavior or anything out of the ordinary. If lawyers close off this line of information, we are doomed for sure. The fact that Obama could not vote for this, or even have the guts to vote against it, says volumes.

This is honestly tongue in cheek, but I have to say it… With all our National Guard over there fighting in Iraq, there’s no one but the cops left to confront our various home-grown militias if they decide to rectify a few of our little problems. If they were joined by a large mass of pissed-off citizens, who knows what might come about?
Not that I expect an uprising, but on the other hand, Thomas Jefferson, one of the leaders of the American Revolution that made us a nation, was real outspoken about the duty of all of us to keep ourselves free.
Jordans cartoon link should be checked out and thought deeply on. I added that link to my “Entertainment” list on the right.
