Im very tempted by the little rascal urinating on the cresent moon, yes it leaves a lasting impression on me, grinning like an idiot from ear to ear.
Only the pen is mightier than the sword one is very clever and for the times we are in, I would argue more appropriate, since it cries freedom and gives nothing that beaurocrats can attack.

Ernesto, you’re forgetting that virtually none of the people who care about this little “flag” competition have ever served in the military, or in general, put their butts on the line for anything they advocate. They’re just bloggers. Never having been to the Middle East, never having lived among Muslims in a Muslim country, all they can do is sit in their underwear and type ad nauseum about how evil the Muslims are. In reality, these people are clueless drones who can do nothing but repeat whatever they hear in their echo chamber. And so they need to dwell in this “pen is mightier than the sword” dreamworld in order to feel like they’ve achieved something with their lives.
(And if you truly understood the nature of the war our leaders have plunged us into, then you would immediately drop your veneration of US firepower.)

“Johnny Anonymous” is a muslim. This creature sent in a second comment in response to this comment, which I am now editing to reflect this. I suspect “Johnny” is actually a woman from the feminine style of writing, and is very likely another of the Muslims of America who have been trying to use this blog as a platform to preach Islam from. Here’s an excerpt from the latest “Johnny” comment: “it’s unlikely that many people who would care about your “flags†have ever spent any real time around Muslims.” She goes on to tell me that it’s my responsibility, not hers, to provide proof otherwise.
And of course, this…: “Have you ever lived in the Middle East? Do you speak Arabic? Have you ever been to mosque? Do you really know enough about them?”
I think we really do know enough about them. I personally have learned far more about them than I ever wanted to know. Making a study of ugliness and evil isn’t fun, the only reason I do it is to wake up others to the danger.
I gave this person one chance to behave and as usual, her being a muslim, what I got back was insults, denial and subterfuge. Further “contributions” will be automatically sent off to that great Cyberspace in the sky.

Thanks for that little enlightenment about the situation with Johnny, if not muslim definately in the George Galloway class of persuation.
Their argument does not wash with me in any case, since I have mixed race relatives within my family who are being brought up muslim, im more than happy to make my views clear to them and they are more than happy to make their arrogance clear to me.
Sadly what it all will boil down to at the end of the day, will be like the American civil war when they say family fought against family, to decide who’s homeland this will be.
In all honesty though for the time being im going to continue to fight the politicians who are selling us out to avoid things coming to that, as for the military angle they use, im surrounded by families who’s career is the forces. Grandfather, Father, Son the Grandsons and they all despise a raghead!

After reading through her website I see I may be mistaken about her being a muslim, though the mistake is an easy one to make considering her pro-Islam comments. “Johnny” may just be another Far Left sympathizer. I’m not really sure and I don’t really care. This is not a pro-Islam blog and anyone who thinks they can come here and attack the Israelis and laud the wonders and glories of Islam is sorely mistaken.
“Johnny” has a website wherein United States policy is attacked clear back to WWII and before, and history re-written according to her take on how things really were. I offer this excerpt from her website:
“Of course, the reclaiming of Israel could not have been achieved without an ethnic cleansing of Muslim Arabs, and the efforts of those that we would easily label murderers and terrorists – if they hadn’t happened to have been Jews.”
How’s that for fascist?
“Johnny” is apparently unaware of the centuries of continuous murder, enslavement and extremely harsh dhimmitude imposed on Jewish people by muslims since the very inception of Islam.
At the end of WWII, the muslims sold their land to the Jews and laughed at the high prices “those stupid Jews” were paying for rocky scrub land that would barely support a goat. The so-called “ethnic cleansing” of Arabs never happened. Jews and Arabs were both living in what is now Israel for centuries. In fact the Jews were always there. It was mostly rich American Jews who bought up the worthless, rocky land that became Israel, that the Arabs were tickled pink to sell. Arabs and Jews still live together in Israel, Arabs are elected members of the government, Arabs much prefer living in Israel to living in Arab countries because life is better.

Not that it matters other than that this person is hiding behind a very generic male name.

The last word? Well, I guess that falls to the most recent comment not deleted. (No offence to the proprietor of this blog, but comment censorship only serves to make your own arguments appear weak, else why would you hide those of your opponent? I dunno, maybe you had good reason, maybe you didn’t, point is we’ll not now know, and thus you’ve weakened your position.)
The last sensible word, though, well, that’s something we’ll have to consider separately. What I can tell people here, though, is that Johnny isn’t a female, doesn’t sit comfortably in the leftist/liberal category, and tends to have some good reasons behind his comments. Even when they seem to be out-and-out liberal insanity at first glance, it’s generally worth hearing him out for his reasoning. Especially since, if you ask him, he’s almost always got good evidence for his stances.
Come on, let’s not be scared of thinking. That’s for the moslems. We, on the other hand, should at least be brave enough, patriotic enough, and sound enough of mind to look at all evidence presented to us. If we really are right in our initial stance, what have we to fear from the truth? And if we aren’t right, shouldn’t we enlighten ourselves?
