Attack Of The Imams and Beating The Bush

From Brigette Gabriel at American Congress for Truth comes this news:

“The six-imam issue has taken an unexpected turn. CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) has demanded the names of the passengers who reported the suspicious activity at MinneapolisAirport on November 21, 2006 so they can be included in their religious discrimination lawsuit.

In response to this even more aggressive attack by American Muslims on America’s security, Congressman Steve Pearce, R-NM, introduced in Congress the “Protecting Americans Fighting Terrorism Act of 2007, H.R. 1640.” ”

Here’s the entire bill: H.R. 1640

To provide liability protection for individuals who report

suspicious behavior to law enforcement agencies

“An individual shall not be liable for any injury or damages relating to such individual’s qualified disclosure of suspicious behavior. A civil action for damages related to such disclosure may not be brought in any State or Federal court. For purposes of this section, the term ‘qualified disclosure of suspicious behavior’ means any disclosure of the allegedly suspicious behavior of another individual or individuals to a State, Federal, or local law enforcement agency or other security personnel that is made in good faith and with the reasonable belief that such behavior is suspicious.”

To contact your own Congressman or Senator and urge them to support this bill, go to this page and click on the appropriate link. If you phone your representative, that phone call will count for 1000 votes, as only 1 in a 1000 voters ever actually calls. Phone calls count bigtime.

I personally fail to understand why the Attorney General, Mr. Gonzales, has not prosecuted these terrorists for their deliberately disrupting behavior on an aircraft that created an atmosphere of fear. They did and that’s a Federal crime but it seems Gonzales would much rather focus on sending Border Patrol guards to prison for apprehending Mexican drug smugglers.

I believe his and George Bush’s days in the White House are short. Impeachment is definitely in the air and if it happens it’s certainly well deserved. I disliked Bush immediately when he debated Al Gore, for being smug and slow-witted, and then that fiasco of an election with the flapping chads, leaping chads, erect chads… All going on in Bush country. It was a bad scene.

It is entirely because of Bush’s contempt for the will of the people that we now have moonbats like Nancy Pelosi riding the top of the dungheap. She would never have made it if he had been a patriotic president instead of what he is. When you have the top executive of a company named Halliburton become Vice President and then give the most lucrative contract in the world to this company, we Americans right then should have leaped to our feet over this extreme conflict of interest. But no, we looked the other way.

We’ve been looking the other way over a long list of presidential offenses but finally it’s having Bush tell us flat out that our vote and our voice mean nothing that has created the sense of danger to our republic in us that has brought us to our feet. This arrogant little man and his lawless crew went too far four years ago. It’s about damn time he and they were getting shut down.

I think this legislation that Congressman Steve Pearce is extremely important and must, I repeat MUST, pass. In my gut, I don’t believe these 6 imams will win their lawsuits. If they do, then it will set a very bad precedent.

While I don’t agree with you on president Bush being in contempt, I do think this bill is a great idea. The Islam enemy is within our borders, and it appears that they are doing what ever they can to erode our rights and freedoms. Islam -> Suitcase nuke, anyone?? I don’t trust any of these people.

    Screw Islam.

These people attempting to get this suit going should be booted out of this country! And, they can take their false religion with them. two thumbs up to Mr. Pearce, an American patriot. I really hope that legislation passes, but the politically correct Morphodites in this country will of course do all they can to destroy such legislation as it doesn’t help to destroy the United States as these Commies would so love to see.

Has anyone ever noticed that neither the dumbocraps or the retardlicans are the least bit interested in OUR culture or interests?

Funny, until I read this I always assumed that anyone reporting something to the proper authorities was immune to any form any sort of prosecution anyway. How else can the law work? Now I am not so sure. If you reported a neighbour beating his wife in the US could you be sued for slander if you turned out to wrong? Could it happen in the UK?
