Your elected official needs to hear from 40 to 50 people in order for him/her to take action. Here is why:
They consider every call, email or letter as a representative of 1000 voters. They feel that if one person had the energy to ACT, he/she represents 1000 couch potatoes who feel the say way but are too lazy to get up and make the phone call, yet they do vote on election
