Forget that newbie. Here’s the guy that should be our next President.

BOSTON – Gov. Mitt Romney signed an agreement with federal authorities Wednesday that allows Massachusetts State Police troopers to arrest and seek deportation of suspected illegal aliens they encounter over the course of their normal duties.
Under the terms of the agreement, made with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, an initial group of 30 troopers will receive five weeks of specialized training next year, paid by the federal government.

After their training, the troopers will receive a certification allowing them to question and detain suspected illegals, charge them with a violation of immigration law and place them in removal proceedings.
“The scope of our nation’s illegal immigration problem requires us to pursue and implement new solutions wherever possible,” Romney, a likely candidate for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, said in a statement.

That’s what we want. We don’t want a Bushy who creates the problem, we want a Romney who eliminates it. The name is everything. Anyone who thinks someone like Obamma (Democrat) is going to get tough on illegal aliens is living in a dream. Open borders are a free pass for an invasion of terrorists. It’s not just all those Hispanics thumbing their noses at us and rocketing our crime rate to the moon and making our welfare systems and emergency hospitals and school districts go broke, which is an extremely serious problem as it is, but we have also been made victims to a horde of terrorists who are now in this country and just waiting for the word to attack.

Governor Romney has the right idea and the right stuff. So far, so good, anyway.
