No Cease Fire For At Least 8 Days – or until August 22
Irans President AMadManO’Jihad has told the world he will give his answer to the UN on Irans uranium enrichment and the incentives package on August 22nd. However, on Aug. 9th, he announced that the apocalyptic end of time will come on August 22, 2006.
In 874 A.D., the “12th Imam”, the Mahdi, which means messiah or guide, was “hidden by God”, and most muslims believe his return will signal the onset of Armageddon in which Islam will dominate the world. This strangely coincides with the much older prophecy that the Anti-Christ will come from the East at the start of Armageddon.
The Mahdi can’t come unless there is major opression, death and destruction of muslims going on and Ahmadinejad wants to promote this to bring about the Mahdis return.
Part of all this is that the 22nd of August is also the day when Muhammad supposedly magically flew to Heaven via Jerusalem and the sky was lighted over Jerusalem to help him see his way. Current thinking is that Iran plans to light up the sky over Jerusalem again on the 22nd and Ahmadinejad plans to use an atomic bomb to do it with.
I’m expecting it to come, if it does, from a scheduled flight out of Tehran International. There will be no doubt who the aggressor is. This will very likely draw a nuclear response from Israel, causing the death of hundreds of thousands of muslims, which will cause the Mahdi to appear. That’s the thinking.
Iran is in charge of the war in Lebanon. Not Israel, Lebanon, Hezbollah, the US or the UN. We know from continuous experience that Iranian promises to adhere to agreements are worthless. Watch the continuing breakdowns in the Lebanese/Hezbollah cease-fire agreements. There will be one after another. No cease-fire agreement will hold.
Ahmadinejad wants the death to increase, not stop, and if the head Ayatollah gives the go-ahead, that’s what will happen. It’s no coincidence that the war flared up and pulled attention away from Iran’s nuke program. It was instigated by Iran.
It seems unlikely to me that Ahmadinejad would make that boast about bringing about the apocalyptic end of time unless he had the means, because unlike his other far-fetched claims, this one is the most sacred in all Islam and not something he would dare to say lightly. Failure to follow through on this one would bring him great shame. All the Shiites of the world are expecting it to happen because he said it would.

Imamadjihadist is crazy and he’s up to no good – that is for sure. I believe we are readying the anti-missile missiles. Don’t know what, if anything, the UN, the EU, our government or even Israel is going to be able to accomplish in 10 days time. I really wish we had bombed those nuclear facilities awhile ago.

After a month, the Palestinian SS (aka Hezbollah) give up and agree to a cease-fire.
Why? Simple: Terrorists are so cowards, they can’t face a ground offensive, in open battlefield. For them, it would be suicide. Israel victory are assured in this terms.

I said over at Beth’s place (my vast rightwing conspiracy) that I look for all hell to break loose in the next 2-6 weeks over there. That meaning the wole region being a bigger FUBAR than what it always has been. It shall be interesting (in a dark way) as to what Alcamelraper will do on the 22nd.

Ahmadinejad’s a pitiful but dangerous nutjob with the brains of a demented insect. It’s difficult to understand or predict what his next move will be. Whatever it is, you can bet it won’t be in the best interest of peace. As all muslims, Ahmadinejad has the taste of blood on his tongue.

As a rule, I hate using specific dates fof “The sky is falling!” But I don’t doubt that Ahmadinejad will destroy Israel if he has the weaponry to do so.
I’ve heard the Iran has built bunkers (as in bomb shelters).
