This is NOT a “Crisis”.

Right from the beginning of the Hezbollah war, expert analysts from all quarters were blatting on about how Israel couldn’t win against Hezbollah. It was too entrenched, too many, too strong, too much a part of the Lebanese political landscape, had too much backing. Israels losses would be too huge, more than they could stand, they were too late, and so on.

I didn’t comment on this before as I thought it was stupid. I still think it’s stupid. Not one of those “analytical experts” is in the Israeli military or is privy to what’s being planned in the war room. Israel has the greatest generals in the world, better than any other nation including the US. They won’t lose.

Disproportionate response.

I listen to the TV news commentators and read the online news and keep hearing or seeing the word “crisis”. This is no crisis for Israel, they have everything well in hand and know exactly what to do. It’s no crisis for Lebanon, for all the governmental whining about casualties and destroyed infrastructure. The casualties are primarily Hezbollah, and the civilians that do get hit knew not to be there, so I prefer to think of their deaths as Darwin Moments. The infrastructure will be rebuilt after the terrorists are crushed, and lots of nations will pitch in to help with suplies and aid. The only crisis here is for Hezbollah, Syria and Iran, and who with any brain cares about them?

The Arabs are yelling like hell now: “Cease fire, cease fire”. Cease fire, my ass. It’s payback time.

I don’t think people really know ‘what’ to call it. It is war as far as I am concerned. Yes I think Israel knows what they are doing and has a plan. One Israeli did say that their intelligence was not as good at the beginning of this as it should have been and ‘WE HAVE CORRECTED THAT NOW’. heh
They have drones with camera and targeting capabilities flying now. Hezbollah launches a rocket and within a few minutes Israel now can blow the launcher to bits.

Did you hear the Hezbollah representative? He said, “We didn’t know that Israel would get this upset over the kidnapping of two soldiers.” Geesh! Are they morons?

I can’t recall, Debbie. I stumbled acrossed it in my wanderings. I modified it anyway from “I’m a fan of” to “I love”. Feel free to take it, there never was a c in a circle on it.

    Disproportionate response and the media…

I grabbed this image from Rastaman’s blog, Islamanazi, and am displaying it here because I think it’s great. I’m sick of the term ‘disproportionate response’ being used to describe Israel’s actions against Hezbollah. A country can’t win a way pl…

I totally agree with you on this Rasta. It should have been done a long time ago but Israel was under so much pressure and alot of it from the US. I am glad Israel is being strong and I know they will do a beautiful job.

“The casualties are primarily Hezbollah, and the civilians that do get hit knew not to be there”

Not even 1 out of 10 people being killed in Labanon are Hezbollah, most of them are civilians. They no not to be there? Where are you suppose to go if you got no money and means of transportation. Most of the people staying are those that have no money, and have no choice but to stay. Since when is it ok to just take over someone’s land and blow up everything. There were plenty of other ways to punish hezbollah but isreal decided to punish all of Labanon which was defiently wrong.

  8. Rastaman Says:

You’re a Muslim, right? That’s why you’re telling us this lie? Not even 1 in 10?

Tell us just ONE of the other ways to punish Hezbollah, please. Put up or shut up.

The truth is that a lot of the civilians getting killed are being kept there by the Hezbollah as human shields and the Hezbollah WANTS them to get killed so it looks bad for Israel.

The males of that “civilian” population that are getting killed are almost all Hezbollah but are being called civilians both to keep the actual successes of Israel hidden and, again, to make them look bad.

Since when is it ok to cross over a national border, kill a bunch of border guards and kidnap two others, and launch rockets across the border? Do you think the Lebanese would have tolerated that? Do you think we here in the US would tolerate that? Hell no. That’s an act of WAR!

This is the problem with you Islamics. You’re incapable of honesty.
