CNN: “The U.S. position is that a cease-fire is a temporary halt to the hostilities, and what everyone wants is a solution that eliminates the threat posed by Hezbollah.

Privately, senior U.S. officials said they don’t expect the fighting to stop until Israel has sufficiently demobilized Hezbollah.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Monday his country is committed to “removing Hezbollah from the area” and bringing home the two Israeli soldiers abducted last week before halting its military operations in Lebanon.”

So far, Israel has a green light to continue operations in Lebanon and very possibly on to Syria and Iran. The US has many bones of contention with Iran and this is a wonderful way to take Iran down without involving a single US soldier. The world now understands that Hezbollah must be utterly wiped out or this entire scenario will just be repeated again and again. Even the Lebanese people are willing to see it now. They want peace and they can’t have it as long as these foreign terrorists are emplaced. Hezbollah is the product of Iran and supported by Iran and Syria, and Hamas is also supported by them. Taking down Iran and Syria is ultimately the only way to rid the world of these Shiite terror groups. Additionally, the Sunnis are now supporting this war as they are under full attack from the Shiites. Watch and wait…..
